Common Misconceptions About Eye Drops (artificial tears)
Is continuous use of eye drops (artificial tears) the only solution to relieve chronic dry eyes?
Are eye drops (artificial tears) with preservatives good or bad?
iTEAR uses non-invasive technology to stimulate the external nasal nerve to promote natural tear production. It has been clinically proven to effectively relieve dry eye symptoms!
- For use, press the power button and the vibration tip will begin to vibrate. The vibration will pause for 0.5 seconds every 10 seconds as a reminder.
- Without pressing, gently place the vibrating tip to the area between nasal cartilage and the bone of each side of the nose.
- During the application, it is normal if you feel slight soreness or it makes you sneeze.
- Continue for 30 seconds on each side of the nose. It is recommended to use in both morning and evening, or as needed.
iTEAR Product Features
Clinical study showed that after 30 days of use, the level of basal tear production has significantly increased by a mean of 56%¹; thus restoring the ability to produce natural tear to relieve dry eyes from the root, or helping to reduce the dependence on artificial tears.
Clinical study showed after using iTEAR for 30 days, the tear film stability has been effectively improved (TBUT*+33%)¹, and may help reduce rate of tear evaporation, relieving symptoms associated with corneal dryness.
*TBUT = tear break up time, is a direct measure of tear film stability and refers to the time taken for the first dry spot to appear on the cornea after a complete blink.
With the unique vibration frequency, iTEAR is applied to the area between nasal cartilage and the bone of each side of the nose to induce tear production. In clinical study, it has shown to instantly increase tear secretion by a mean of 3.7 times¹ upon first use.

About the Usage
Using non-invasive vibration technology, iTEAR uses a unique vibration frequency to stimulate the area between soft and hard cartilages of the nasal cavity. It has been clinically proven that after 30 days of use, the level of natural tear production is significantly increased by 56%1, thus restoring the capability of natural tear production to relieve the root cause of dry eyes, or help to reduce the dependence on eye drops.
It has been clinically proven that after 30 days of use, the level of tear evaporation reduced, thus improving tear film stability (TBUT* 33%)1, and relieve symptoms associated with corneal dryness.
It is recommended for users to undergo an eye examination after 30 days of use. Please consult your physician or a professional for advice.
